Abstract

O encontro de públicos com coleções e exposições, num determinado espaço, tem uma história longa e complexa (Bennett, 1995). Este encontro constitui um desafio hermenêutico, que se vai alterando, de época para época, de acordo com as necessidades do tempo e os objetivos de cada sociedade e cultura. A ligação de objetos e públicos, num determinado tempo e contexto, tem tanto de complexo como de flutuante. Os museus, as coleções e as exposições projetam representações do mundo e narrativas da vida de comunidades humanas, que obedecem aos padrões das mais diversas curadorias, por vezes até de sinal contrário...
