Abstract
Percutaneous neurolysis of the posterior tibial nerve is a known treatment for spasticity that causes equinovarus deformity. Although dysesthesia is a known complication of phenol nerve blocks, this case series describes 3 cases of musculoskeletal foot pain that developed as a novel complication of posterior tibial nerve blocks and was successfully treated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and foot arch enhancement of the patients’ ankle-foot orthosis (AFO).
