This research is motivated by conditions in the field that lack of learning media, especially for the introduction of Arabic vocabulary for kindergarten / RA children. So far, teachers have only used picture cards and singing as media, but the implementation has not been maximized because the media is not dynamic enough to see the development of technology which is very fast now.
The problems studied in this study are (1) how to analyze teacher needs for the MUNAROH (Mufrodat Anak Raudhotul Athfal) Multimedia Arabic Vocabulary Media with the iSpring Suite Application for Kindergarten/RA Children in Semarang, (2) how is the prototype of MUNAROH, and (3) how is expert validation and revision of the MUNAROH (Mufrodat Anak Raudhotul Athfal) media prototype. The type of this research is qualitative and quantitative research (mixed method) with a research and development design(RnD).
The results of this study, first the teachers want MUNAROH media for TK/RA children group B. Second, the prototype of MUNAROH (Mufrodat Anak Roudhatul Athfal) is media in the form of educational games designed with a PC application display to make it easier for Kindergarten/RA teachers teach the introduction of Arabic to children in this all-digital pandemic era. Third, the results of expert validation include (1) aspects of the feasibility of content and material, (2) aspects of display, (3) aspects of software engineering, (4) aspects of communication, (5) aspects of audio and, (6) visual aspects. The result of obtaining the average overall score is 335.875. So, this learning method is declared feasible with a good predicate. Then, it can be concluded that the learning media “MUNAROH” is suitable to use.

Background: Augmented Reality is a technology that combines two-dimensional or three-dimensional computer-generated objects into the real environment around the user in real-time. In the health sector, ARDent has developed rapidly based on previous scientific studies. Multimedia technology can help create a quality learning environment for dental students by combining various medium and technology, such as text, graphics, sound and animation, including ARDent. The addition of existing Augmented Reality technology, ARDent as a learning medium will attract the attention of dental therapy students because it can provide an interactive, three-dimensional virtual presentation in the introduction and use of oral surgical dentistry tools. Purpose: This research aims to assess the effectiveness of developing the ARDent application as a medium for increasing the knowledge of Dental Therapy students in learning oral surgery. Method: The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), namely Information Collection, Design, Expert Validation, Product Testing, and Analysis of the product results. Results: The expert validation results revealed that the third expert’s score averaged 88.6%, with a p-value of 0.039. The variables of software engineering, visual communication, and functionality, both pre and post-test scores on the ARDent application for applied bachelor dental therapy students, demonstrated a significance score of >0.001 for all three aspects (Paired T-Test). Conclusion: ARDent is effective in the aspects of software engineering, visual communication, and functionality, serving as an effective learning medium to enhance the knowledge of applied dental therapy students in learning oral surgery.

  • Mantiqu Tayr: Journal of Arabic Language
  • Annisa Hanin Larenzi + 3 more

Quizlet platform-based learning media is an interactive learning media that can be used in the Arabic language learning process, especially vocabulary. This research is based on the problems students encounter when learning Arabic, especially vocabulary. Students have difficulty learning Arabic because they consider Arabic to be a difficult subject and the lack of learning media used by teachers means that students lack enthusiasm in the learning process. This research is research and development research (R&D), namely research activities that begin with research and end with development. This research uses a mixed methods approach and the Hannafin and Peck development model, which consists of three phases: the first phase is need assessment, the second phase is design, and the third phase is development and implementation. This research aims to determine the feasibility of learning media based on the researcher' developed Quizlet platform. The data in this research are in the form of observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects of this research are students in class 8F of the Insan Mulia Islamic Boarding School in Pringsewu Lampung. The following are the research steps carried out by the researcher: 1. The first phase is needs analysis, the researcher carries out direct observations and personal interviews with Arabic teachers. 2. The second phase, namely design, the researcher designed an Arabic language learning media design based on the Quizlet platform. 3. The third phase, namely development and implementation, researcher developed learning media based on the Quizlet platform and validate it by experts. Researcher conducted product feasibility tests. Several validators validated these: two were learning material experts, two were learning media experts, and one was an educational practitioner expert. Researcher obtained research results with validation results by experts with very good grades, including: 91% by material experts, 94% by learning media experts, and 90% by education practitioner experts. Therefore, Arabic language learning media based on the Quizlet platform developed by researchers is suitable for use in Arabic language learning, especially vocabulary.
