Abstract

Background and Aims: Direct LDL-cholesterol (dLDL-C) assays are widely used instead of calculated LDL-C. Although theoretically more accurate, inter-assay differences still exist. This study aimed to investigate whether an OPLS multivariate model could identify the cause of discrepancy in dLDL assays in frozen and fresh plasma samples.
