Multitracer and Mössbauer studies on uptake and distribution of 59Fe, 65Zn, 57Co and 57Fe in different growth stages of the soybean plant

Abstract

A simultaneous multitracer method was applied to a study on micronutrient metal elements in soybean plants. Using 59Fe, 65Zn and 57Co as tracers, the uptake and distribution fo the three elements fed at different growth stages of the plants were investigated. Mössbauer spectroscopy was employed in parallel to study the chemical states of iron in soybean plants cultivated with a solution containing 57Fe.
