Abstract

In this paper, novel subspace-based algorithms are proposed for estimating parameters of multiple moving or static targets in bistatic MIMO radar. The target's parameters of interest include delay/range, Direction of Arrival (DOA), Direction of Departure (DOD), Doppler frequency and complex path coefficient, which is a function of the target's bistatic Radar Cross-Section (RCS). Based on parametric bistatic pulse MIMO radar signal models in conjunction with the concept of extended array manifolds, subspace-based algorithms are proposed for estimating these parameters without suffering from estimates association problem. The performance of the proposed algorithms is evaluated using computer simulation studies.
