Abstract

A compact slotted patch antenna with single layer, single feed is simulated in this paper. By cutting two unequal slots at the upper right and lower left corner from the conventional microstrip patch antenna, resonant frequency has been reduced drastically compared to a conventional microstrip patch antenna and also simulated antenna size has been reduced by 34.22% with an increased frequency ratio.
