Abstract

ABSTRACT An electronic module for use with the PARC Model 174 Polarographic Analyzer has been designed and constructed. The module is connected to the internal circuitry of the PARC by means of a simple cable connection and a phone plug, and can be disconnected easily, leaving the basic modes of the Polarographic Analyzer unchanged. The following features are introduced by the addition of the module: cyclic voltammetry, derivative polarography, constant potential, reversed polarity and alternate drop pulse polarography. The pulse width, sample width and measuring time constant can also be controlled. Schematic diagrams of the various circúits and polarograms recorded with the module are given.
