Abstract
A multiport current-fed boost dc-dc converter with zero-current switching (ZCS) is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter integrates two different voltage sources, regulates the output voltage for load as well as input voltage variations. Zero-current switching achieved in the active switches by utilizing the resonant tank circuit with proposed modulation scheme. Throughout the operation, ZCS maintained under a wide load as well as input voltage variations by employing frequency modulation technique. Simulations are carried to show the robust performance of the converter.
