Abstract
The Pomeron is a sum of Regge multipoles, each corresponding to a finite number of rungs gluon ladder. From a fit to the proton-proton and antiproton-proton scattering data at high energies the three-pole pomeron term is significant for description of differential and total cross section. The local slope of diffraction cone was calculated for multipole pomeron model. This slope parameter is compared with its values derived from the experiment. Keywords: hadron scattering, pomeron, local slope of differential cross-section.
