Abstract
Multipole circuit analyzers permit the determination of terminal and transfer apparatus parameters with high accuracy and in a broad frequency range by using just amplitude value displays [1-4]. When creating such circuit analyzers the developers have the problem of selecting those of the class of possible multipole apparatus that can perform the function of measuring transducers [i, 2]. This depends on the values and relationships of the intrinsic network parameters. Consequently, it is expedient to generate requirements on the parameters and to set up selection criteria for the multipole measuring transducers. Presented in Fig. 1 is a generalized multipole measuring transducer circuit 2 to whose input a signal from the generator 1 comes. The load 3 under investigation and the power displays 4...n fixing the values of the powers P#"'Pn which are related to the complex amplitudes of the incident b and reflected a waves in the plane of the load connected by the equations [2] pi=lAia+BtblZ ' (1) are connected to the transducer outputs, where A i, B i are the intrinsic parameters of the multipole measuring transducer (MT).
