Abstract
The multiplexing of four interferometric sensor outputs on a single optical fibre using a phase-generated carrier technique is demonstrated. Low crosstalk ( – 60 dB) and high performance (minimum detectable phase shifts of 2–18 μrad) were achieved with this configuration. This technique is expandable to large numbers of sensors.
