Abstract

The multiplex advantage in correlation chromatography not only makes the signal-to-noise ratio better than that of conventional chromatography, but also improves the peak resolution for the same signal-to-noise ratio. This property is demonstrated for the headspace analysis of components from an ethylene-propylene copolymer. The disadvantageous sample dilution in the pneumatic Deans-type switch is discussed.
