Abstract

Varicella-zoster virus (VZV) usually causes localized zoster in adults. However, in immunocompromised patients, it can cause systemic manifestations. Early diagnosis and therapy are crucial for the prognosis of the patients. To raise awareness of the diagnosis of VZV vasculopathy and the importance of looking for signs of previous infection up to 12 months.
