Abstract
With the increasing availability of DC microgrids (MGs), the DC-MG cluster will develop quickly as the connection of different DC MGs. To alleviate the burden of the central control, the distributed control strategy is attracting more and more interests among researchers. Besides, the communication cost is obviously reduced with only one receiver of the global system information. However, the bidirectional neighboring communication will make the communication network more complex, which makes DC-MG cluster as a time-delay system. Moreover, the different time-delay values among neighboring MGs further deteriorate the whole system to a multiple time-delay issue. To maintain the stable operation of DC-MG cluster, the cluster treatment of characteristic roots (CTCR) is proposed in the work for the stability analysis considering the multiple time delays.
