Abstract

We examine the performance of Kim and Chem's multiscale model in high Reynolds number flow over two-dimensional surface-mounted ribs. The computations are performed using a finite volume method with a higher order quadratic upwind scheme, which is stable and conservative and which incorporates an upstream-weighted curvature correction.
