Abstract

Cathryn L. Glanville (Tuskegee Institute, School of Nursing, Tuskegee, Alabama; M.A., Teachers College, Columbia University, New York, N.Y.) is assistant professor in maternal child health at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her major field of activity has been in curriculum construction and teaching of maternal and child health. This article reflects the author's interest in action research in the clinical setting and in demonstration projects for improving the quality of nursing care within the pediatric unit of the hospital.
