Abstract

We report a case of multiple rib fracture at 33 weeks gestation, following a road traffic accident, in which the uterus and the fetus were not affected. Patient had spontaneous vaginal delivery at 41 weeks gestation, with good fetomaternal outcome. Mother and baby remained in satisfactory condition, and she was later discharged by the Orthopaedic team when she had fully recovered.Key-words: Multiple rib fracture, road traffic accident, spontaneous vaginal delivery.
