Abstract
In Chap. 5, we introduced multiple linear regression and its application in quantitative analysis to verify a potential X ~ Y relationship by controlling for impactful confounders and adjusting for key socioeconomic and demographic factors. Controlling for confounders can enhance internal validity of a study while adjusting demographic and socioeconomic factors can improve external validity.
