Abstract

The probabilities of particle production in nucleon-nucleon collisions at an energy of E = 5 GeV have been calculated using Fermi's statistical theory and by taking into account the conservation of baryon number, strangeness, isobaric spin as well as strong resonance pion-nucleon interaction in the T = 3 2 , P = 3 2 state. Various effective space volumes in which secondary particles are produced are considered.
