Abstract

Pyoderma Gangrenosum is a dermatologic extra intestinal manifestation more commonly seen in Ulcerative colitis than Crohn’s colitis.It is usually associated with severe disease and sometimes difficult to treat and may require IV antibiotics, IV glucocorticoids, azathioprine, thalidomide, IV cyclosporine.We report a case of a 50-year-old female with Type 2 diabetes mellitus and ulcerative colitis in remission phase with recent onset active proctitis followed by development of expanding ulcers with violaceous edges over the lower extremity and stomatitis.
