Multiple frequencies estimation from compressive phase-only data: performance analysis

Abstract

The algorithm and application issues of multiple frequencies estimation from compressive phase-only data are addressed in Fan, Wan, Chen, You, and Wang (2012). An alternative minimisation algorithm is proposed. In this article, we give three theoretical properties of the proposed algorithm. The first one enables the algorithm produce correct sparse solution by iteration. The second one guarantees estimation error and is within any given threshold when signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is high enough. The last one is the SNR, enhanced after processing under suitable conditions.
