Abstract
This paper deals with the description of microspheric individuals of Alveolina oblonga d' Orbigny from the Lower Eocene (Cuisian) Çayraz Formation in the Haymana area, southwest of Ankara, Turkey. These foraminifers have a large number of megalospheric individuals near the periphery of the test, which are megalospheric embryos fossilized in the process of multiple fission of the microspheric agamont.
