Abstract

The development of a multiple family therapy programme in a general hospital department of psychological medicine is described. The use of one way vision screens in such therapy, varying according to the patients' and families' needs is an important technological aid. Four age and social-status based groups have emerged and the details of current management within each is outlined. Our involvement with general practitioners in a family orientated programme is also noted.
