Abstract

A novel two-fish-head configuration of a mutually-pumped phase conjugator for multiple beam coupling is demonstrated in a photorefractive barium titanate crystal. The ability of the phase conjugator to effectively and simultaneously create three phase-conjugate replicas without cross talk is also presented. The tolerance of the coupling efficiency to positional misalignment is assessed as well.
