Abstract

Continuous-wave dual-wavelength (DW) operation of a Nd:CALGO laser based on a single plate birefringent filter (BRF) was demonstrated. A wide range of DW pairs with wavelength separation from sub-nm up to $\sim10$ nm with adjustable spectral intensity ratio could be generated. Using a single transmission peak of the BRF resulted in wavelength separation far smaller than the free-spectral range (FSR) of the filter.
