Abstract

In this study, an analysis has been performed for conjugate heat transfer and multimedia features of a steady laminar boundary-layer mixed convection of magnetic hydrodynamic (MHD) flow with ohmic effect second grade viscoelastic fluid past a stretching sheet. The similarity transformation and the finite-difference method have been used to analyze the present problem. The conjugate heat transfer results show that the non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluid has a better heat transfer effect than the Newtonian fluid flow. The free convection with a larger G has a good heat transfer effect better than a forced convection flow (G=0). On the other hand, a lager Ncc number has a good conjugate heat transfer effect better than a lower Ncc number.
