Multimedia authentication for copyright protection

Abstract

Multimedia contents are easy to be copied and modified, so it is important to use authentication technology to ensure reliability and copyright security. Multimedia authentication technology is usually divided into digital signature and digital watermarking. In this paper, we introduce some basic image and video authentication technology, such as PCA algorithm and image signature method based on DCT coefficient, LSB -based digital image watermark, SVD-based digital image watermark, and video watermark.
