Abstract
We consider the Cauchy problem for the cubic nonlinear Schrodinger equation with the harmonic potential. We prove global well-posedness below the energy class in energy subcritical cases. The main ingredients for the proof are a multilinear eigenfunction estimate for the harmonic oscillator and the I-method.
