Abstract

This paper presents a practical implementation of a quasigroup based multilevel, indexed scrambling transformation for use in signal authentication, encryption, and broadcasting applications in secret-key cryptography. Results of experiments with text and speech scrambling are presented. It is shown that the quasigroup transformation is very effective in destroying the structure of the input signal and, therefore, it can be an excellent encryption technique.
