Abstract
A mechanism for multijet production initiated by two partons, p 1, p 2 is suggested by extending the model which was originally derived by interpreting multijet production initiated by the specific process e +e −→qq̄ as a critical phenomenon. The factorizability of this model makes its extension possible and its applicability to multijet production in p̄p collisions with emphasis to gluon jets is studied.
