Abstract

In the era of New Generation Networks (NWGN) many emerging and future enable technologies accomplish the requirements of ubiquitous communication networks. A Mobile Wireless Sensor Network (MWSN) is one of the rising and emerging technologies for various application of NWGN. The enormous concerns of these networks are energy efficiency and data aggregation. Data aggregation eliminates the redundant data during transmission and enhances the lifetime of the energy. A routing protocol is responsible to enhance the network performance with less energy consumption. In this paper, the authors have proposed a new multi-hop mobile data collector (MDC) based routing protocol for efficient data aggregation. Moreover, the proposed approach is better than A Novel Self-Organizing Hybrid Network Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks (hybrid multi-hop routing protocol) in terms of sensor node energy consumption that enhance the network lifetime due to multi-hop routing strategy and maintains the End-to-End transmission delay.
