Abstract
Abstract A multigroup transport equation with a degenerate kernel for anisotropic scattering is considered assuming a constant total cross-section. Eigen-functions are constructed and their completeness properties are established by extending the earlier treatments of less complicated kernels. While analytic solutions to infinite-medium problems are, in principle, available, no explicit solutions are presented.
