Abstract

Software design and development process is essentially cooperative, and involves multiple groups. There are many specific requirements differing common cooperative works. In order to support such specific cooperative activity involved multiple groups, a multi-group cooperative organization-activity model is proposed. Based on this model, conflicts among the members of multi-groups can be automatically detected, and groups executing cooperative activities can be automatically generated. In practice, a workflow system supporting multi-group cooperative software design and development process based on above framework had been developed. The results show these technologies can avoid the task conflicts in multi-group cooperation while minimizing the cost in project tracking, and can reduce the repetitions in software interfaces design and development.
