Abstract

We study the multifractal properties of cosmological N-body simulations. The integrations have been carried out for a cold dark matter spectrum and for two scale-free spectra with spectral indices n=+1 and n=−2. A biasing scheme is introduced; different particle populations have been selected and followed during the evolution, according to initial different density thresholds. Different analysis methods have been applied to the particle distributions in order to estimate the generalized dimensions, D q , of the multifractal spectrum
