Abstract

It is shown that experimental data on intermittency in multiparticleproduction obtained from collisions of relativistic heavy ions (32S) with thetarget nucleus (AgBr) at 200 AGeV, as well as data of a numerical simulation performed in azimuthal space, exhibit (after corresponding processing) remarkablecloseness to analogous data obtained from strange attractors generatedby the universal period-doubling cascades. This phenomenon has been relatedto a multifractal phase transition of high order from negative to positivetemperatures in the frames of the Feigenbaum thermodynamics.
