Abstract
Background: Granular cell tumors (GCTs) occur in the oral cavity and other sites, including skin, and are characterized by the accumulation of plump cells with granular cytoplasm. Often appearing yellow clinically, these tumors are benign, but they may recur. Here, we report a case of multiple GCTs occurring on the dorsum of the tongue of a 59-year-old woman who also had geographic tongue.
