Abstract

Carlsson and associates performed comparative assessment in six swine and reported that 64-section multidetector CT can be used to detect heterogeneous microinfarcts and regional perfusion deficits resulting from microembolization with a degree of accuracy similar to that achieved with cardiac MR imaging.
