Abstract

Non-Fermi-liquid (nFl) behavior caused by a single site effect could be confirmed by measurements of the electric resistivity of Y 0.8U 0.2Pd 3, doped with zirconium on the uranium sites. For high temperatures T> T K the resistivity shows Kondo-like behavior, while for low temperatures T⪡ T K there is nFl behavior with Δρ( T)/ Δρ(0)=1− a( T/ T K ) n ( n=1.07±0.10, independent of the uranium concentration).
