Abstract

Risk assessment of the operation of distribution networks containing distributed power sources is the most important way to ensure the safe operation of distribution networks. In this paper, the main objective of the study is to assess the risk of the distribution network with distributed photovoltaic (PV) based on time-series risk analysis in multiple scenarios. Firstly, the PV output and load demand power of each time of the year are composed of multi-series data, which are clustered into several typical scenarios throughout the year, and the corresponding weights are obtained. The risk assessment and analysis are carried out in each scenario, and the risk warning is carried out according to the warning criteria. The feasibility of the proposed method is verified using an IEEE 33-node distributed system example.
