Abstract

We have investigated the interaction between a one-mode coherent field and a two-level atom. The interaction is multi-photon processes and the Stark shift and the number operator are taken into account. We obtained the wave function when the atom is initially in a superposition state. The effects of the number operator and the dynamic Stark shift on the sub-poissonian distribution, amplitude-squared squeezing and the Q-function for two-photon processes are investigated. The results show that these phenomena are affected by the presence of these parameters.
