Abstract
Magnetic properties of Pd 1− x Mn x alloys are investigated theoretically for a localized spin model for Mn atoms which are connected by long-range ferromagnetic interactions and short-range antiferromagnetic interactions. By using the multi-canonical Monte-Carlo simulation, the temperature variation of the specific heat and the probability distributions of the order parameter of the ferromagnetic state and the cluster glass state are calculated for each concentration. The obtained phase diagram is in good agreement with the experimental one.
