Abstract

The prospects for the development of the tourism industry are increasingly associated with the introduction of information technologies and the formation of a fundamentally new structure of this sector of the economy, the fundamental elements of which may become digital ecosystems. The article presents the main approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "digital ecosystems" and conceptually considers the classification of digital ecosystems in the field of tourism and hospitality. The classification and advantages of digital platforms acting as a base for building a digital ecosystem of tourism and hospitality are considered. Based on the available world experience, the vectors of digital ecosystems development in various sectors of economic activity are studied and the directions and prerequisites for actualization of the digital ecosystems foundations for the national tourism industry are defined.
