Abstract
The article aims to think about the situation of social change, considering the challenges and opportunities inherent to them. Specifically, aims to present the situation of population aging and also to agree that, with view to minimize the challenges and maximize the opportunities are urgent measures in strategic sectors. Among which highlights are the social support systems; education and health services. And also for the urban spaces, which are also related to health and active aging. The context requires social changes and the structure of cities to be put into practice, especially in developing countries, which have high rate of urbanization and aging, and therefore must be agile to take advantage of the demographic dividend in the sense of solve part of their problems, and simultaneously prepare for the aging population and the bonus logenvidade.
