Abstract

This article aims to make a historical digression on the work process, from the simple co-operation to the Japanese production or production system. Seeks to understand some meanings of changes in the work process, not only the work itself, but also the dynamics of social relations in capitalist society. Analyzing the work from the perspective of the social production mode it is intended a critique to the search for pure or work processes uniform types in addition to critique of attempts at consensus between the social classes. We conclude that the Toyota production system is one of several strategies of capital to reproduce its domination and exploration of workforce. In this context, increasingly aggravated the control, monitoring and vulnerability conditions of work and employment, manifested in precarization and work intensification.
