Abstract
MELVYN BERLIND, M.D., BROOKJ;YN, N. Y. A MODIPICATION of the mucus trap for tracheal insuffiation in the treatment of asphyxiation in the newborn is here presented. The change consists in the addition of an extra . inlet for the purpose of :Hlministering oxygen and <~-arbon dioxide during the insufflation. The percentages used are 95 per cent oxygen and .) per cent carbon dioxide, although straight oxygen might also he used.
