Abstract
MTI MicroFuel Cells in upstate New York has received a $1.2 million grant from the US Department of Energy, to facilitate field testing of the company's Mobion® micro direct methanol fuel cell systems. The company has also received funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to support a field trial of 200 handheld, mobile fuel cell chargers for portable electronic devices.
