Abstract
The integration of software tools in education has demonstrated sufficient effectiveness in assimilation process, of concepts and formulas relatively difficult to understand by a written or oral description, in all fields of science and technology. In this work, we propose the use of simulation blocks developed in Matlab tool in the teaching of digital signal processing in general, and analyzing a nonrecursive digital filter as practical case study. Then we discuss the organization of a library of blocks shared between teachers in the different sequences of the course.
