Abstract
The Mossbauer spectra of 3 samples of iron charged non-reduced mordenite, synthesized each one by specific chemical treatments, give evidence for the existence of two Fe-3+ species similar to α-Fe2O3 and α-FeOOH. These species are mainly localized out of the zeolite framework in agreement with the results obtained by other techniques.
