Abstract

Mössbauer spectroscopy is a powerful tool to investigate the physical and chemical state of the solid material including Mössbauer nuclide. The mechanism of Mössbauer spectroscopy is nuclear energy is shifted and spit by the interaction of the nucleus and its surrounding electrons. Moreover, the hyperfine interaction reveals the chemical phenomena and physical states such as oxidation state, spin state, magnetic state, and nuclear radius change between ground and excited state using. Mössbauer spectroscopy could present basic chemical science including physics and environmental science of materials.
